The Downfall of The Chimera

Chimera was killed by the hero Bellerophon. Chimera would terrorize the land of Lycia. The King wanted to kill Bellerophon, so he ordered Bellerophon to kill the Chimera. Everybody knew Bellerophon would die, but Bellerophon had a trick up his sleeve. Bellerophon had tamed the Pegasus and rode it to fight Chimera. Bellerophon flew just out of reach of Chimera'a firey breath. He shot Chimera so many times with his bow and arrow that Chimera finally fell for the last time.

Chimera's Behavior

Chimera was raised by Amisodarus, who was the king of Caria at the time. The king had raised it to wreak havoc on all of the opposing countries. Chimera did exactly as it was raised to do. It spat flames and hurled lava with its three monsterous heads. Chimera loved to destroy the land of Lycia. King Amisodarus wanted Chimera to destroy everything, but Chimera always left some parts not burnt to the ground.
